Say Hello to Sanah
Working as a program manager at Techstars, Sanah has landed
a job, perfectly suited to her. She is a dedicated young talent
with this positive energy and warm beautiful smile that can
make anyone feel welcomed in an instant. She has to travel a
lot, meet new people and take on challenges – something she is
familiar with since her childhood.
Her curious mind took her from Boston to Chile and eventually
Berlin – a magical city that makes the best place to host her
famous home cooked dinners for her international friends. And
that is exactly where we got to know this lady, inviting her for a
new episode of Friends Of Jukserei.
1. Why did you move to Berlin?
I moved to Berlin in 2017 for what was originally supposed to be just a three-
month internship…and I’m still here almost 2 years later. That Berlin magic
doesn’t let you leave!
2. What was a memorable moment in your life?
The first thing that came to my mind was quitting my job in Boston and buying
a one-way flight to Chilean Patagonia. It was the first stop on – what would
become – a seven month journey through South America. I can still remember
how – even though I was terrified – it felt like it was exactly what I was meant to
be doing. Now I know that feeling usually means I’m on the right track with
3. What's your best childhood memory?
Probably all the family vacations we took! My parents were big on showing my
sister and me different cultures and we were lucky enough to see a lot of the
world at a young age.

5. What is your favourite Jukserei piece?
I love the Oslo Ring, its great to layer with other rings and has such a
unique look to it.
6. Any recent cultural discoveries that you can recommend?
The poet and author Yrsa Daley-Ward.
